On this magnificent Mothers Day I decided to dedicate this post to a former Black Panther and community activist Mrs. Afeni Shakur the mother of late Hip-Hop legend Tupac Shakur. If it was not for god blessing her with the birth of her son Tupac, who knows how our music would be today with out anthems like "Brenda's got a baby", "Keep ya head up" and of course "Dear Mama". All of Tupacs songs had a message behind them rather it was living the thug life and the consequences or loving your self and having knowledge of where you come from is the key to success. So a thank you goes out to Afeni Shakur and all the mothers of Hip-Hop.
